I Found My New Favourite Summer Makeup Item, and It's Basically Liquid Sunshine
The main reason my makeup bag is overcrowded? Every item inside usually performs just one function. My mascara can only be used to lengthen my lashes, my brow pomade is only used to bulk up my brows, and my lip gloss can only add shine to my lips. That's why when a product as multipurpose as Tarte's Liquid Chrome Paint ($31) comes along, I'm willing to give up some valuable storage real estate for the versatile item.
The metallic liquid-gold pigment comes in a tube with a brush applicator perfect for applying precisely whenever you choose and also comes with a small beauty sponge. Tarte's powerfully pigmented product comes with a small sponge (to blend out the shimmer) and a set of star and moon stencils. The tip of the brush allows you to use the stencils to create a festival-worthy look, while the sponge makes it easy to sheer out the golden liquid and wear it as a highlighter. I also found it easy to apply as a liquid liner straight from the brush and dot in the centre of my lips for a golden metallic look. It's so pretty and simple to use that I'm looking forward to wearing it every chance I get, all over my face.
