How to Watch The Hills: New Beginnings Revival in Australia

Here's How You Can Watch The Hills: New Beginnings in Australia

Get ready to party like it's 2007 again, The Hills reboot is almost here!

The Hills: New Beginnings will have its Australian premiere on Tuesday, June 25 on MTV. Given how popular TV revivals have become over the last few years, it comes as no shock that we will get the chance to once again indulge in the semi-scripted reality show that was everyone's favourite guilty pleasure throughout the late noughties.

But, what is a little more surprising is some of the notable casting changes that have occurred since the show concluded its original run back in 2010. This time the cast will include OG members such as Heidi Montag and husband Spencer Pratt, Whitney Port, Audrina Partridge and Brody Jenner (yes, as in the half-brother of Kendall and Kylie). However, much to many's disappointment, the show's original protagonist, Lauren Conrad, will not be making a return to our screens.

While Lauren left the show after its fifth season, die-hard fans were hoping she would throw her hat in the ring again for the revival. Alas, this is not to be, but the show seems to have found a worthy substitute, as Mischa Barton will be appearing as a main cast member. Although her inclusion may seem a little left of field, considering she portrayed the unofficial princess of Orange County Marissa Cooper in The OC, we actually think it makes total sense for two icons of 2000s pop culture to join forces and allow us to see her as more than her character.

While the show will be airing weekly episodes on Foxtel's MTV's channel, it's not yet clear if it will be available on the company's streaming service, Foxtel Now. However, although you didn't hear it from us, you could use a VPN to access the episodes online through a US site, which yes, is technically legal. The VPN we would most recommend is PureVPN both due to its comparatively low price and reputation for being reliable and speedy, according to Lifehacker.

Regardless of how you choose to view the show, we think it's safe to say it already makes for the perfect binge-watch material.
