Ariana Grande's music video for "Thank U, Next" is one of the most highly-anticipated film clips of 2018, mainly because she's recruited OG Mean Girls cast members Johnathan Bennett (aka Aaron Samuels) and Stefanie Drummond, the iconic "cargo pants and flip flops" girl, to reprise their roles in a segment dedicated to the 2004 film.
Grande also chose to cast some of her former Victorious cast mates in the Mean Girls tribute and Elizabeth Gillies, who currently stars in the Netflix series Dynasty, has taken over the role of Cady Heron. Well, Lindsay Lohan found out about this overnight and decided to throw a little shade at Grande for her not inviting her to reprise one of her most popular roles.
As reported by Pedestrian TV, Lohan posted a selfie on Instagram and in the caption said, "Ain't nobody Lindsay Lohan like the real Lindsay Lohan". She then went on to say that she was "flattered" that Grande loved Mean Girls so much — oh, and that she also loves Dynasty.
No one knows when the "Thank U, Next" clip will be released, but from the pictures that we're seeing on Instagram, Gillies is going to make a darn good Cady Heron. We're so ready for this video.
