The Single Date That Cemented Monique as a Surprise Bachelor Frontrunner
Monique Morley started on the back foot on this season of The Bachelor, entering the mansion a few days late as one of the 'new girls'. However, she has certainly made up for lost time. Impressing Bachie Matt with her makeshift scavenger hunt at episode three's cocktail party, he chose her to accompany him on the next single date right then and there. Within the space of a few days, Monique went from newcomer, to only the third woman to receive a single date.
After enjoying an adrenaline junkie's dream date that involved everything from Ferraris to aerial acrobatics, the pair slowed things down for a post-flight powwow. There, they learnt they may have more in common than what first met the eye, bonding over their experiences as FIFO workers. Despite both admitting that they were intimidated by the other, they managed to push through their nerves, resulting in both a rose and a kiss. At the conclusion of the day, Matt said that Monique is "everything [he's] looking for, and [he] could see a future together." Now if that doesn't cement Monique as a bonafide frontrunner in the race for Matt's heart, then we don't know what does.
