Jennifer Aniston stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to explain why she decided to join Instagram. The beloved Friends actress admitted that peer pressure finally convinced her to set up a profile on the popular photo-sharing app. Kimmel noted that Aniston's account amassing one million followers in a matter of seconds broke the internet — beating out the follower count of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's joint account, Sussex Royal.
Aniston's first Instagram post was a sweet group shot of her Friends castmates, which hit an impressive 12 million "likes" in one day. Her second post, to much anticipation, was a video clip that went up today, with the caption, "I swear I didn't mean to break it [the internet]... Thank you guys for the kind, glitchy welcome ❤️". In her interview with Kimmel, Aniston confirms that she's carefully "baking content" for the 'gram, so we're looking forward to some funny bits and a more intimate look inside the life of one of Hollywood's favourite women.
