POPSUGAR Australia: Congratulations on making it to the top two! What's it like being out of the villa?
Erin: It's amazing!
Eden: It feels like freedom, and we're all alone now, so it's great!
Erin: We made it to the end and came second, which is really good. First, second or third, we still won.
PS: Yeah that's awesome. What's the first thing you're going to do once you get back to Australia?
Erin: We're going to go see our families, and then we're going to go see each other. We can't leave each others' sight for longer than a day, it's a bit crazy!
PS: Will one of you move over to where the other one is?
Eden: Erin's based in Melbourne, I'm in Sydney. Erin's going to come and visit Sydney after August.
PS: Awesome, so you've already talked about the future!
Eden: Yeah, it's all planned out. We've planned everything.
PS: Are you friends on Facebook yet?
Erin: Oh my God no, we don't even have our phone numbers yet!
Eden: Yeah, we don't have our phone numbers, that hasn't happened yet!
PS: What would you say has been the best moment for both of you during your time on Love Island?
Erin: Definitely the time when Eden made me his girlfriend, that was the most amazing experience ever.
PS: It was like a proposal almost!
Erin: I know, it was beautiful! Imagine when he does propose and how much crazier that's going to be?
PS: Pressure's on Eden!
Eden: I know, I've been given a good idea actually, so wait till you see it.
PS: The last week in the Villa, saw a bit of drama between all of the housemates, but now it's all over and you're out, have you buried the hatchet, or do you still feel the same?
Eden: We're all adults and we were all in the house for six weeks together, so you're bound to do each others' heads in at times. We moved on from it and it's all buried underneath. We shared the same experience, so we've got that bond.
PS: Are you happy for Grant and Tayla?
Eden: Oh, very happy for Grant and Tayla, there's no bad feelings there. Someone had to win, and congratulations to them.
Erin: And it's really cool, because if you think about it, they did have a rocky start, and look how they've finished.
PS: You guys have been solid from the start . . .
Erin: Yeah, and it's like, we're still going to be solid forever now. Everyone can see how good it's going to get.
PS: Who are you looking forward to catching up with from the villa now you're out?
Eden: The two I'm looking forward to catching up with most is Josh and Dom, those guys were my best mates in there, and also, I can't wait to see Charlie. He left in the first week, so I'm excited to see him.
Erin: I'm more excited to see certain people, but you know how you have your best friend where you just can't wait to get out there, start partying with each other, meeting each others' families and that.
PS: Are you excited to see what everyone has thought of your journey? Will you go back and watch?
Erin: I'm going to watch Love Island straight away. I've wanted to know what it looks like from everyone else's point of view because obviously we're filmed 24 hours a day, but you guys only saw an hour of that, so I'm interested to see what didn't make the cut. I can't wait.
Eden: Yeah, I'm excited. I'm not going to watch it straight away, but it will be exciting to look back on me and Erin sharing everything together, the friendships we made in there, so it is an exciting time. I can't wait to get back into that reality.
PS: When you first walked into the villa did you ever think you would find a connection with someone like this and then go on to make it to the finale?
Erin: I was hoping that I would find a connection, and I felt that connection the second Eden set foot in Love Island.
Eden: Before I came, I had no expectations, I didn't know what to expect. And then when I walked in there and saw Erin, it was love at first sight. We just clicked and have been like that for six weeks. We'll be even stronger now we're out of here, so it was just an amazing experience and I'm thankful to Love Island for giving that to us.
PS: It must've been good to know every time there was a recoupling, you knew you were picking each other. You didn't have to deal with the stress everyone else had to go through.
Eden: Yeah, Erin and I always spoke about that, because we'd hear people really stressing about it, and we never had to go through that.
Erin: We were just so respectful of each other.
Eden: Yeah, we were. And we said on the first or second night, that we'd always be together from here to the end.
PS: I have to ask you, Erin, about your relationship with Millie, did you think that Millie had ulterior motives when she was interacting with Eden?
Erin: No, it was just one of those things where Millie and I knew that we didn't like each other. We knew where we stood and some days, I was just more angry than normal, and I was like, no, I'm not enjoying this, and some days, I was OK with it. I wasn't OK with it the majority of the time, but that's just how I am, and when you're living with the person you don't really like so much, it's just so hard.
PS: Now that the dust has settled, post-lie detector test, what were your feelings? Do you feel better about it?
Erin: With me, when I get angry about something, I get angry about it then and there, and I go full ball into it, and then about 10 minutes later, I'm over it. I think that's how I've learnt to have thick skin and a good backbone. I think it's a lot easier if you face your emotions straight away instead of holding onto them and bubbling over them later.
PS: There were some issues between you and Teddy when he came into the villa, are things all settled between you all?
Eden: Yeah, yeah. That's all good now between me and Teddy. On the day I was completely caught off guard and at the time it ruffled some feathers but after that we got over it. I'll leave it all behind and that's it, there's no hard feelings between me and Teddy and you know it was just another test for me and Erin and we overcame it.
