Are You Game to Try This Australian Designer's Twist on French-Girl Dressing?
Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival wrapped up over the weekend, closing a week of exciting, vibrant shows that all but took over Melbourne. We've been eagerly taking notes on every new trend and styling tip we've spied on the catwalk during the week, and can't wait to start working them into our Autumn wardrobes. None more-so than the standout look from the Who What Wear Australia runway on Saturday March 10 — chic, French-girl basics (complete with beret) given a rock star twist with patent leather pants by Bec & Bridge.
While it's certainly not for the faint-hearted, the execution is easy. Keep your colour palette simple — black, white and a splash of red are the safest bets — choose a square or scoop neckline, and switch out your trusty denim for high-shine trousers or mini skirt.
You can peep our favourite looks from the Who What Wear runway show below and check out all of our VAMFF coverage here. Thanks Melbourne — until next year!
