With ballet-inspired exercises, technique and posture is key — it's how your body will get the most out of it, so be sure to pay close attention to the instructions in the videos. If anything, remember to keep a straight back, pulled-in stomach and bend and stretch your knees fully during plié. It's perfectly OK to work at a slower pace with a better technique, rather than trying to match the instructor's speed without focusing on what you're actually doing. And while you don't have to wear ballet slippers while you work out, some form of soft footwear — like socks — is recommended.
